WE GOT SILVER FOR THE DRILL COMPETITION AND GOLD FOR COMPANY AWARD!

Wahahaha! I am sooooo happy! Let me relate to you from the start of the competition till the end.

We were standing in the middle of the parade square, in our own positions, waiting for the music to start. When the music started playing, we started doing our musical drills. I started crying when our musical drills ended because the pain from my knees was excruciating. I know that I could not and did not reach my original standard (which is when I am well and jumping about), but I have really done my best. I didn't think that we did well so I expected us to get Certificates of Participation (COP). With this mentality, I started preparing myself for the prize giving and told myself NOT to cry when they announce our company to collect the COP.

I managed to see how other coys perform and wow! they were really good! The dressing, the salutes, the stamps, DAMN SUD! DAMN COOL! After seeing how they performed, I was REALLY convinced that we would get COP. Afterall, how much can the format drills affect right?

When it was time for the prize giving, all the coys fall in in the parade square and the sun was beating against our skins. I was ROASTED! Right, so the ma'am started announcing the companies that got COP and I was PRAYING that we would not get COP though I expected that we would. After she had finished announcing the companies for COP, I started tearing already because we were not inside! Jiamin teared too! All the Sec 4s were really relieved and we were getting pretty uptight about the results.

After that, she started announcing the companies who got Bronze and once again, OUR COMPANY WAS NOT INSIDE! This time, I was tearing even harder. Then came the announcing of the silver awards. OUR COMPANY WAS MENTIONED! Omgosh! WE GOT A SILVER! (I shall not mention the presenting of other awards larh cause our company got a silver so FULLSTOP!)

After the singing of the vesper, we were dismissed! Almost all the Sec 4s were crying and I think I cried the hardest. LOL. Damn embarrassing, now that I come to think of it. Still, I was really happy! I cried and cried and when Staff Wang allowed me to touch the trophy, I was like, "IT IS REAL! OMGOSH, IT IS REAL!" and started crying again. Many many people came to hug me and you know what, EVEN DAWN WAS CRYING! Everybody was really happy, and to add to this happy outcome, ma'am Vennie told us that we got gold for our company award! WAAA! This added to my tears! Lol. I was sooo freaking happy. Hahaha. Staff Wang then passed me the trophy and the Sec 4s were telling me that I have exchanged it with my blood. Haha. I was sooo freaking happy arh! All the Sec 4s started to be really high after that and I kept smiling to myself! LOL.

To celebrate this happy occasion, Ginny, Shaowei, Nicole, Dawn, Jiamin, Staff Wang and I went to Burger King to have dinner and ma'am Vennie joined us after that. If Jamie, Yueting and Lee Gek were present, the whole of the G-FORMULA would be complete.

Still, I am really really happy and GOOD JOB GIRLS!
