HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLA! (My cousin, not the real ella.)

Okay, let's start this post in a positive tone first because the ending will not be a really happy one. Yeps. My parents bought ice cream cake for Ella this afternoon! And whoa, it tastes really great and the price was GREAT too. Ice cream makes me happy. Hahaha.

Anyway, I don't understand why she(let's name her H) can be so rude to ah ma. Look, it's new year now so all quarrels and scoldings should be avoided right? Plus the fact that ah ma's her senior! How can she shout and point her finger at ah ma? Seriously, ah ma is feeling really terrible because of her illness and has been living in anguish for many months already. I bet agony is living in every cell of her body and flowing in her blood. It is inevitable that she wish she would be dead, wouldn't she? Living in dad's eldest brother's house is killing her and having to receive scoldings from H's mother and H herself is making her feel worse. Imagine having to live under a roof with such mean people. I don't understand why ah ma has to do H's mother's bidding when ah ma's the one who is sick and not H's mother. -.- Please larh, even I cannot take it anymore. I really felt like standing up for ah ma when H was shouting at her, but I know it would be rude of me to do so. Afterall, she's older than me.

I think we should all be more considerate of ah ma's feelings and put ourselves in her shoes. How would WE feel if we were her? Will we think of ourselves as a burden to others? If a sixteen year old girl can think in this way, I don't see why people who are much older than I am can't do the same? Are they really too engrossed in caring about themselves? I think only my dad, Yishi's mom and Zhiwei's mom really care about ah ma. Others are just playing along and do not really care about her. It's really obvious, you know. They don't care about ah ma at all. All they ever think of is either money, or whether she'll bring about inconvenience to them. -.- How selfish. To think that ah ma even worked so hard just to support them when grandpa died young. I really cannot swallow it. How can one be so heartless? Her SONS somemore eh.

This world is filled with heartless people ...
