Here's the long awaited post about my trip to Chiang Mai! Haha. I finally got the photos from Yishi and have photoshopped it and resized it for my own convenience. Yeps.
First day:
After arriving at Thailand, our tour guide came to pick us up and we headed to the temple! There were like tons of people and the lift we took to go to the top of the mountain where the temple is is super cool!
See! It's crowded! Lol.
I forgot what this golden thing is called but the top part of it is made of real gold! *gasps* So cool.
So after we went to the temple, we headed for lunch, then went back to the hotel and I forgot where else we went. Lol. But the first day was super boring because Yishi and I don't really know the other kids and adults yet. So yeah. I was hoping that it would not be like the Kukup trip or I would really go bonkers if it remained so boring. So, that's our first day.
Second day:
We went to look at the elephants! Yay! It was super cool. When we were looking at the elephants name at a board, an elephant was trodding past me and when he noticed that I was holding a bunch of bananas and some sugar canes, he used his trunk to grab it and my hand was filled with brown liquid(I wonder what that is). Lol.
Look! It's going to take a bath! Haha. So cute!
After that we proceeded to some place that is shaded and has seats to look at the elephants perform. They're really intelligent creatures, I tell you.
It's painting! Some of them can even paint better than me! *embarrassed*
He scored a goallll!
This is how they "hold hands". Haha. Super cute right? (In case you can't see the picture properly. They're walking in a circle and one elephant willl use its trunk to hold the tail of the elephant infront of him/her.)
That's how Yishi and I sat on the elephant.
Yishi and I got a really mischievious elephant and our ride was super rocky because of her disobedience. Lol. But I thought that it was super fun and that if our elephant wasn't mischievious, I wouldn't enjoy that much. I like the thrill when I'm being rocked from front to back and left to right. Hahaha. So cool!
P.s. To differentiate a male and a female elephant is easy. They have what we have. Get it? Lol.
After everything, we went to have lunch and then off to the Orchid Garden.
Aren't the flowers beautiful?
We had dinner at some place and I only remembered that I saw a ren yao there. Hahaha. Oh, and the prawns are huge. Let me show you the difference between a normal one and a huge one. Lol.
I can't really remember what happened after that but it wasn't very fun because we were STILL not as close with the other people yet. Haha. The third day's my FAVOURITE day, I tell you. Lol.
Third day:
We woke up SUPER early because the tour guide's taking us to somewhere far. We first arrived at some really nice place where there were many oranges and there was a bridge for us to cross too! It was super cool. Haha. I was jumping on it(I feel like some kid). I really like that place. I breathed out mist(whatever it is, it's something white) and it was really nice!
Took a family photo there. (:
After that we went to a hot spring place to cook hot spring eggs! Super cool!
We're putting the eggs into the hot spring!
After roaming around that area for awhile, we proceeded to Laos! Super lazy to fill in more details so I shall just show the picture taken there. Lol.
Then, we went to the Golden Triangle, and then to the strawberry farm! The strawberries were super yummy!
Yayness to strawberries!
Next, we went to the tribal village! It's so cool, I tell you. They have this main gate that's called something like a Ghost gate or something to prevent the evil spirits that are following us to enter the village. I gave a super shocked sound when I saw two wooden figures(a male and a female) in a position of having sex. Nice one man. Lol. I never expected that kind of thing. There were many different tribes but Yishi only took a photo of the long neck people. So here it is.
It's looks really painful. =/
It was a LONG trip back to the hotel after we've finished seeing all the different tribes and Yishi, Jon, Charmaine(don't really know the exact spelling), Long-hair-aunty and I were exchanging cold jokes in the bus. Lol. Super funny. While everyone was asleep in the bus after like one hour of riding in it, I was still wide awake. The bus was too jerky for me to sleep. Lol. Yishi and I were warming up to the adults and the kids already and things are getting more funf or me. Heh. So when we went back to the hotel, we went to Jon's room, where all the kids were, to play games. Haha. Right, so I guess that's it for the third day.
Fourth day:
We went shopping at some weird looking shopping mall for about an hour and a half before going to the flower exhibition. The flowers were just BEAUTIFUL, I tell you. There are actually alot of pictures of the flowers but I'm lazy to upload ALL thus only some were uploaded. Heh.
Took a picture of this sight because I felt that it'll be SO wasted not to capture it.
After that, we went to the Bugs World! I expected more of like real life insects crawling around us but nah, they were all in casings. Lol.
Oh oh, then there was this flying fox look-alike thing and I was so excited when I saw it, thinking that I could sit on it and play. However, Yishi said something that shattered my hopes. "The board says only for children under the age of 10years." What's their PROBLEM? How can they do that to meeeee. T.T But nevermind, I took a picture of my brother attempting to get on it though. (:
We took a few group pictures together as well.
It was really fun there because all the kids were playing around while we were walking. Lol. I've become a pro of tricking others to the direction I want them to turn to after being with them for these few days. Hahaha.
When we went back to the hotel, Yishi, Charmine and I were competing how long we took to bathe. Lol. And Yishi was the slowest! Hahaha. Then, we went to Jon's room to play with all the other kids again and this time, I brought my Kame poke cards. Wah. My heart was aching when I saw how roughly the kids handled my cards. But oh well, forget it. What's more important is to have fun. ^^
Last day:
We woke up REALLY early in the morning because we had a flight to catch and I was still in a super sleepy mood.
Look at how tired we were. We were sleeping on the steps while our parents were queuing up to check in. (Yishi's super boliao to take such a picture but yeah, it still came in handy. Lol.) All I know is I kept sleeping so yeah, that's all larh. Lol.
To end this post nicely, I'll be posting some pair photos. Yeps.
GWEN! Here's your ren yao!
